Back to the scrap bin

While I wait for the t-shirts to show up, I went back to wrangeling scraps as 2022 for me is the Year of the Scraps. I still have some left from the four green baby chevron quilts. I paired up the cutoffs from the sides and sewed them into blocks.
There is not enough for a quilt so I pulled out scraps that I had sorted and were from chevron quilts that were made several years ago. I got a good start on pairing them up.
I won't trim the blocks until I get enough made to do something with. I still have quite a pile to go thru.
I haven't had as much time to work on my cross stitch because I am trying to walk at lunchtime again. I need the excerise more than I need to cross stitch. Here is where I was two weeks ago and where I am now.

That is a lot of cut away scraps to deal with. I hope you have enough for a quit.

It's cool to see how you are using up your scraps.

Way to take those scraps. I'm trying to keep up with them this year as well by cutting them into usable shapes and sizes as I work on projects. That is causing my "pre-cut bins to get crowded." Now I'm a little worried that I will have to add a project to my WIP list. Oh well. I am happy they are getting used. My WIP list will eventually continue to come down. Happy Friday.
