Cookie recipe and t-shirt progress

I finally remembered to take a picture of the oatmeal cookies recipe! I have had this Quaker Oatmeal tin for years and years and the recipe was on the backside. I amended the recipe by adding a rounded teaspoon of cinnamon. It makes all the difference in the world! I just dump in raisins until it looks like enough and throw in some pecans if I have some around. The vegetable shorting I use is good old plain Crisco - not the butter flavored. I have never tried the butter flavor so I couldn't say what that might do to the taste. If you do try the butter flavor, let me know how that works out. Also, if there is something that you can't quite read from the picture, let me know. I will be happy to clarify for you. I always bake mine on parchment paper and you need to let the cookies cool a bit before removing them from the cookies sheet.

I got a few more t-shirts cut up and interfaced. Here is what the design wall looks like now.

I have eighteen more shirts to cut up and add to the mix.

When I got home from work there was my roll of 20 yards of Evolution car cover fabric waiting for me. I need to make equipment covers for my nephew's band as they have finally gotten tired of their equipment getting wet. They should of had me make covers years ago! I will set the t-shirt project aside and work on the covers tonight, Friday night and Saturday as we have a show on Saturday with a possibility of rain.
