Scrap-a-palooza day 14 and the borders are on!

So here is today's pieces and parts that came from the green bin. Those big bins sure hold a lot of fabric! I am getting close, but it's going to take a couple more cutting sessions to get thru the green scraps.
I did get the borders on the DNP. I had to piece the longer sides since the fabric I picked up this past weekend was only 2 3/4 yards.
After I got back home from my 3 mile walk late this afternoon to the library, drug store, and grocery store, I started pressing the backing. I am sure glad I have this big table, but I really could use a second pair of hands. I will just keep plugging away!

Those huge backings and layers are really hard to get spread out. I used to baste all of my queen and king size quilts on my basement floor. Those days are long past
