Tulips
Since the deer eat at the tulips at my house, I have been picking and enjoying the ones outside the front door at work. The yellow ones are just about done for so I picked a bunch of the red ones. It has been rainy and over cast today so they were not open when I cut them after lunch.

such a pretty and classic color combination of spring green vase and red tulips - an inspiration!
I didn't realize that tulips opened like that so quickly. Beautiful!

Daintytime - the vase was the only one in the cupboard here at work, so it is just chance how well the color goes with the tulips.
Glen - I decided to document the opening since the other day I had some yellow tulips and next thing I know they were open. I was suprised also how fast they opened.
