Yesterday's trip

This is a piece of fabric sent to me with the check for her purchase from one of my blogging friends. I had made a comment on her blog of how I loved this fabric months ago and she remember so she sent me a fat eight of it. How sweet is the Exuberant Color! Thank you Wanda!

I got to the dentist ok, but they drive me crazy because they are so slow. Everyone there is so nice and they all want to visit. I just want to get the heck out of there. I hate to have my teeth cleaned! I wanted to get back on the interstate before rush hour and I managed to get to the hospital in record time. Here are the girls:

Here is Claire - all 5 pounds 1 oz.

Here is Sophia - all 4 pounds 12 oz of her.

Sophia said "Go away and leave me alone pattynubs!"

They are both doing well and may get discharged Tuesday. Mom and a nurse were feeding them and I wanted to stay longer and watch, but I needed to get to my brother house to watch his kids so it was back to the interstate. On the four lane street right before I turn on to the on-ramp, we were all stopped at a red light. The lane I was in started to move, but for some reason a van in the next lane didn't but the three cars behind him did. POW! a three car fender bender. Onward I go busting tail, because I am running late!

At the dinner my brother and sister-in-law went to they serve a lot of food. One of the people in the group didn't like chicken and my s-i-l didn't want her chicken so my brother brought me the leftovers. Here is one box with a half a chicken, 1 1/2 sweet potatoes and some corn bread. This is my lunch today. I have another half a chicken in the fridge at home. I had to weight the box becasue I could not believe how heavy it was. It weighs 2.2 pounds. That's more than enough for two meals! So with the other chicken in the fridge, it looks like I will no have to cook this weekend!

I got home at 10 till eleven so no new pictures of the quilts to sell happened. I will post Monday with what remaining quilts I have. Tonight I am volunteering at the art museum. They have a new photography exhibit with various photographers of pictures of rock and roll stars. I will try and get some photos. Saturday my nephew is playing a a private fund raiser and I was invited by them to attend for free! It is being held a a mansion with a full blow out decked out backyard. I will definitely be taking my camera. There will be lots of food and drink and another band playing besides my nephew. Sunday I am chillin'. Have a great weekend!
