T-shirt quilt progress and a new cross stitch project

I was tired when I got home from work and just couldn't face working on that middle shirt again so I decided to work on the shirt below it. I go it over half quilted. There is a lot of outlining to do; all I have left to outline are the two bottom rows of text then I can meander stitch the background where the safety pins are and then that shirt will be done.
The area circled here will give you an idea of how much I have left to quilt not including the small bits on the middle shirt I still want to do.
I did finish stitching the piece for my sister for Xmas so I needed to start a new cross stitch project. I stitched this angel years ago and no longer have the chart. It was stitched on Aida and is kind of faded. It probably needs washed. LOL!! I am stitching two of them for gifts by just counting the stitches on the one I made. For colors, I want them to be slightly different and I am also using different base fabrics. I am stitching them at the same time, section by section. You can see the little hole that the dowel goes into. The dowel is in a little wood block. I will have to take a picture and post that so you can see what the finish piece looks like.
It is not going to be freezing cold this weekend so I am going to try to spend a bit of time in the garage making the frame for my sister's piece and making the little stands for the angels. I am going to try and get the t-shirt quilted and at least get started on the binding. Have a great weekend!
