One row sewn

I only had time last evening to sew the top row together on the sixth quilt in this current group of tops.

I spent time last evening cleaning up the studio. The dust bunnies were starting to take over and I just couldn't stand the mess any more. It looks much better now. Add in a couple loads of laundry and my evening was gone. I didn't have to water the squash because we got some rain around 5 p.m. I did go out to check out the two yellow squash to see how they were coming along. Not ready to pick yet.

Now I am in sewing mode. Have been able to change my focus from the danged pond area to creating a quilt. My grand DIL sent a pic of a positive pregnancy test. Their first is 6-1/2 months old. I always heard that breat feeding was a natural birth control method. Guess THAT's a myth. Anyway everyone is thrilled and it motivates me to just stitch my life away, lol.

I like this 6th quilt a lot. We got more rain too in the late afternoon.

It's so interesting to compare how the {basically} the same fabrics can look so different depending how they are cut. These will make excellent baby quilts. I'm again in need of a bunch and must get busy.
I'm glad your garden is going well.
