Linen top done - on to another UFO

I went on a road trip on Saturday to my old stomping grounds. I stopped at the bulk food store to pick up a few items. I saw these shoes marked down so I bought them. I love this style of shoe.

After lunch I ended up at the mall and found these slip ons. I wore them all day Sunday and they are very comfortable!

I didn't get back to the house until 6 p.m. on Saturday so not a lot of sewing happened, but Sunday I got to it! While I was working on the linen top I did laundry. Here is the top of the first of my linen series done. I love the way it came out. I used almost every piece of the scribble screen print. I have a piece of the red stripe left that I will work into another piece in the series.

For next linen top in the series I will be using this linen and the blueish Essex linen/cotton that I screen printed. I have no idea what I am going to do, but something will come to me!

The sun was shining Sunday and it had warmed up to the 40's so I had to go out for a nice long walk. When I got back I worked on another of my UFO's. This is my one and only convergence quilt. I used my own hand dyed fabric for this.

While I had my big table cleared off, I decided I had better get another UFO laid out before I fill up the space with stuff! I still need to press this top before I pin baste it.
