8th finish for 2025

Saturday I got the binding sewn on the log cabin flannel quilt. By Sunday afternoon the hand stitching was done. The quilt is 60 1/2" x 75 1/2".
Saturday was busy with getting the binding sewn on, baking oatmeal raisin cookies for the band (I forgot to take a picture), and fixing the drum cover.
We headed to Old Brooklyn, Ohio which is a suburb of Cleveland for a show. My brother did a fantastic job of negotiating around this lovely, old neighborhood with narrow streets. We had a great crowd and sold some merch. The band did a great job and the crowd enjoyed the show.
So I got the drum case fixed and then came home with two more projects for the band! The organ cover was falling apart and needs to be remade with studier fabric. HomeSew was having a sale, so I order fabric and more strapping.  Yes, that's a big old hole!
The other project is to fix up this guitar case. It doesn't have to look perfect; it just needs to be functional.
I got to bed at 10 after the show which is fairly early for a show! So on Sunday after I ran an errand and finished hand stitching the binding on the log cabin quilt.  Next I worked on the courthouse steps quilt. I finished quilting it which took about 5 hours then got the binding sewn on. Tonight I will trim it then I can start the hand stitching.
