A little progress and mail
I had a hair appointment last night so I didn't get home until 5:30. After getting something to eat, I got back to pin basting the log cabin flannel. I have two blocks left to pin baste then I am going to start quilting.
I usually don't get much mail, but last night the box was brimming with stuff. In that was a package from a friend. I thought it was a wristlet that I am going to duplicate for a friend of her's, but that was not it. She sent me two spools of an organic thread she recently found, Scanfil is the brand. The thread is made in the E.U. Also, there was a half yard of this candy corn fabric - so cute! Receiving this was a fun surprise!
Then my order from Blick's came. I got some pens, fabric paint including a glow in the dark paint, and a tool for pushing in glazing point when I frame. I always just used a screwdriver that didn't always work so well. Now I have the correct tool which ought to make framing easier. I looked at a glazing gun, but they are around seventy to a hundred dollars so I settled for a manual tool for around ten bucks.
