Quilt top done, more tote bags, mallet fixed up, and a finch
I kept busy yesterday. I got the courthouse steps quilt top done. The blocks were trimmed to 12 1/2".
Here are another 5 drum head tote bags and 11 regular sized tote bags done. Theae took a lot longer to get done than I thought they would. I think I spent about 5 hours on these.
My nephew gave me a mallet for my drum which I will be using today at the protest. Here he was showing them to me.
I gave one a haircut and then wrapped a few layers of felt to fix it up.
Caught a quick photo of a yellow finch having a lunch of coneflower seeds.
The table is now cleaned up so I have space to work

You did keep busy! I love your court house steps top…..it’s bright and fun. We are leaving our cabin today and will arrive home next Monday……I cannot wait to get back to my sewing studio! I did finish the bindings on the five quilts I brought with me so there’s that ;-)
The courthouse blocks are fun! Nice variety of stripes.
Still no finches here yet in spite of lots of dried seed heads waiting for them. I have so many yellow flowers back there that I might be missing the yellow on the birds.
Wow great fabrics for your pouches.
