Put on my big girl pants and got back to the jacket

It was time to get back to the leather jacket. First, I machine basted the sleeve lining to the jacket. Next, I sewed the cuff on the right sleeve, then topstitched the cuff. Once that was done, I added a strip of leather to the bottom edge of the cuff where the leather was in poor condition or missing.
I needed to deal with the torn leather at the sleeve seam.
I decided to put a piece of leather over the area then sew it down to reinforce everything. I had to free motion stitch the patch on since there was no way to turn the sleeve. Good thing I have had lots of practice FMS!
I am happy with how it turned out. Now I just need to sew the cuff on the other sleeve and patch that same place and the jacket will be done!

I’m sure you’ll feel like a weight has been lifted when you get the jacket finished and returned. The repair on the torn sleeve looks great as does the leather around the cuff.

Wow, what a job! Will you cut loose in a Snoopy Happy Dance or collapse in the chair in relief when it's finished? I hope the jacket owner is paying you *very* well for this.
