What's next?

I know I need to sew together the blocks for that last baby quilt and I have lots of quilting to do, but I was thinking about what is going to be my next project. Looking at the projects sorted out on my shelves, I decided I want to start sewing together these homespun pieces that I cut several months ago. I had a picture of a quilt - yes, another 9-patch - that I thought was good looking.

I have been redoing my book that I keep pictures of projects that I have collected. I am very bad about making copies and collecting piles, but not so good about keeping them organized. I am finding piles everywhere! I have been editing and sorting and now have the majority of my ideas in one spiral bound notebook and one small 3-ring binder. I cleared off one shelf in a bookcase that was crammed with multiple notebooks over the weekend and gathered up and sorted the piles of papers that were stuffed everywhere. This has been taking more time than I thought it would, but I am glad to have the majority of it sorted and filed.

While I was clearing out stuff, I looked up and saw this box with homespun fabric in it.  I totally missed it when I was cutting the homespun 9-patch.

I am going to have to sort thru it and pull out anything I can use in the red, cream, and blue homespun 9-patch.
