Tote bag Lining done

The lining is now ready for the final assembly of this bag. I made two zippered pockets. I had to piece the lining since I didn't have a big enough piece of fabric. I really wanted to use the red skull fabric. It is such a busy pattern and it's lining so who cares if it's pieced! I didn't have enough of the red skull fabric for the pockets so I used the same fabric as the exterior is made out of.
I also made this to add a latch hook. This will go on the inside of the bag. I should be able to get the bag finished tonight.
My labels arrived!
I sewed one in a curved top pouch to see what it looked like.
I only have 69 more to do!

Yay, I’m so glad the labels arrived! When do you leave for your retreat?

And the labels turned out great!

I like contrast lining pockets because they are easier to find when looking down into the bag.

it's an awesome looking tote bag!!! gotta start with that cuz those skulls are so creepy to me - i wasn't creeped out by skeletons when i was a kid, but now they scare the bejeezus out of me - maybe i'll grow out of it(?) - but i know that YOU like them, so good on you!!!

Your labels look great. The rug is nicely done. I almost always put a made key fob holder in every bag I ever have. Gym bags and everything. I just need to know where my keys are and don't like to rummage through a bag.

Holy cow on the bike rack costs. My husband is handy. I often take those things for granted. Hope you get it figured out if it will be worth it or not. We have so many fun trails in NE Ohio to travel. They seem super safe too. I am in a facebook group called WOW. It stands for Women on Water. I joined the group to go to kayaking events safely with a group. The group has grown so much and now has a biking group, a hiking group, a snowshoeing group... It's a time commitment sometimes to meet up, but I get to see many more things on the water safely with a very diverse, welcoming group of women. It's all women.
