Sewing and protesting
It was a busy weekend! I decided I needed something to take as little gifts to my brother's house for Easter. I decided to make more curved topped pouches, but in the medium size. I could quilt one of those in 13 minutes and it only took one bobbin of thread. I started on Friday night, worked on them all day Saturday except for the few hours I left to protest, got a bit more work done on Sunday before I left for my brother's house. I got 17 made. That was more than I needed, but I wanted to make sure I had enough.
I finished up the last 7 this morning. Two of those are for me. I timed myself to see how long it would take to install the zipper and finish sewing one together - 8 to 9 minutes. You get pretty fast once you have made 80 of them! LOL!!
While I was at my brother's for Easter dinner, I stitched while visiting. I got a lot done and I almost have the second angel done.
I needed to clean my carty cart and replace the bungie cord. It is now all clean, oiled, and ready for use.
On Saturday there were two protest sites. I decided to head downtown because I knew there would be plenty of parking; at the other location the parking is awful. After we were there for about half hour, the sky opened up and everybody got drenched. There was wind and thunder, but we didn't move.

17 bags! WOW! Good for you at protest!
I have a cart very similar to yours. I used it a lot back when I was doing programs and workshops for guilds.
All of your pouches are so cute! Glad you had a nice weekend.
love those pouches!
our weekly protest in Superior has become smaller and smaller - but the regulars are still showing up ... there was an impromptu protest outside of NOAA this morning - a rumor that the piece of dog poop tech asses were on site spread like wildfire and a hundred people gathered outside the building - the bad guys were not actually there, but no one left till Congressman Neguse was assured that Muskrat's $hitheads weren't there ... yet ... we all know that it's just a matter of time - and people are pissed.
