Log cabin progress, maybe treasure, RIP Sly
I got three more blocks made last evening.
I walk by these three bins of scraps every day. They reside in my sewing studio. This morning I thought to myself I ought to look thru those to see if there are any scraps of blue striped fabric.
Look at what I spied! I will be dumping those bins out tonight to see what treasure I can find!
Yesterday Sly Stone passed away. I was in high school when Sly and the Family Stone were in there heyday. They had some big hits which I still listen to. I want to take you Higher - how can you sit still to that song! I remember how they were edgy in their look and were one of the funkiest bands around. RIP Sly.

Isn’t it great finding what you need? Oh how I love working with scraps!
That's a lot of scraps in those bins. I bet you will find some nice surprises and maybe a selection for another quilt while you are at it.
