All pin basted and a couple sewing jobs done

The t- shirt quilt is pin basted and ready to quilt. I don't have a deadline on this, but I would like to have it done in the next couple weeks so it is not hanging over my head.
I needed to work on a couple other small projects and get them out of the way. I had this boxy pouch cut out. I needed a zipper and that came in my order that I received a couple weeks ago. It's now done. This goes to my sister's friend that I made the other Georgia Bulldog items for.
Last time I visited my friend in PA, I came home with her husband's jacket that needed the cuffs fixed. The good part was the cuffs were too long so there was enough good fabric left to fix the cuffs. The cuffs were in bad shape!
I just cut the bad portion off and folded the good part in half. I had to do a little repair stitching to the one jacket seam near the cuff. I just sewed the cuff back on and they look as good as new.  The cuffs are a little narrower than when they were folded down, but at least they look a whole lot better. This was an expensive jacket so now it has a bit more life left in it. I was glad to get this done.

Your friend’s husband greatly appreciates it! And is amazed at how good it looks, especially considering how bad it was!

This t-shirt will be more fun to quilt without as much of the black on black stitching

That tshirt quilt came together so quickly! Great job!

I have a sweatshirt I love and the cuffs are really worn. I may have to have a text consultation with you!
