4th is quilted

I had about 7 - 8 minutes of quilting left to do on the fourth baby quilt so I finished that this morning. The binding is already made so this quilt will be finished shortly. This is the same binding that I used on the last quilt.
I am looking forward to four days off. I think I will try making a pot of soup in my new crockpot. I bought this a couple weeks ago when it was on sale.
I am just having a hard time getting rid of my old one. I have had this crockpot for nearly 30 years and it works as good as the day I bought it.
The reason why I bought a new one is because the plastic handles are cracked and breaking apart.
The control knob broke off and apart several years ago, but I can still turn the stem to low, high, or off.
My plans for Thanksgiving are to go over to my neighbor's tonight then spend the next four days in the studio working. I have to start working on getting Xmas presents made. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving! I too have trouble getting rid of my old Betty Crocker crockpot. My front knob fell off too. I can still easily turn it with my fingers. Who needs handles? If you let it sit on the counter once you get it where you need it? Doesn't the inside of that one come out? I like the crockpots where the crock comes out for easy washing. My family has bought me crockpots to replace my old ones. They seem to cook hotter and faster. That's not really what I want. I want low and slow so that I can throw things in it before I got to school and have it cooked perfectly when we get home from a busy day. I have two new crockpots still in the box in the basement...

The quilting went pretty fast on that one. Having a binding ready will make it a quick finish.
I haven't used my crockpots for quite a while. I finally put the larger one in the cupboard in the garage.
