Pantone colors of the year

I won't be making a quilt in gray and yellow because I already have! These quilts are from 2013. Was I ahead of the trend? The first one is a baby quilt and the improv striped one is an oversized twin.

When I saw that yellow and gray were the pantone colors of the year my thought was nursery colors from the 2012 - 2015 time period. I guess the only difference is the Pantone yellow of the year is a deeper yellow than the nursery combination but not by a lot.

Yes, Pantone copied you! These are lovely and I doubt they can be improved. Your shades look wonderful together in two distinctly different ways.
