Quilts that will be for sale

Here is the pile of quilts I am trying to sell. I didn't have time to hang them, take pictures, and measure last night, but I plan on getting started on that tonight. So look for some pictures tomorrow. I have some idea of what I have, but then there are a couple of quilts I don't remember where I got them. Some are in rougher shape than others and I will honestly describe any issues I see. Please pass the word to any quilt collectors you know.

I still have not had time to investigate how I can link paypal on my blog. That would probably help my cause to turn my stash into green. I was told last night the girls maybe dismissed from the hospital early next week!

Today's offering

I was digging thru another plastic bin last night and came across some 50 or 60's fabric and some 70's prints and solids along with these embroidered blocks with matching fabric. I had no idea where I got them from. There are 12 17" x 17" blocks and they are beautifully done.

Look how nice the stitching is on the back of the blocks.

Here is the green fabric with one of the blocks. There are two pieces of this 35" wide green fabric - one is 1 2/3 yards and the other is a hair shy of 2 1/4 yards. If you are interested, contact me and give me your best offer. I think these could make a beautiful quilt. See yesterday's post for my contact information.

This block SOLD! Thank you!

Books, patterns, misc. and homespuns for sale

Here is the bundle of fat quarters I won from Canton Village Quiltworks. I have already washed and cut them into strips for a project I have in mind. Thanks you Jackie!

The girls are doing well and are finally back up to birth weight. So today I added homespun fabric, books, and patterns for the car project fundraiser.

For the books I will consider all offers. I have no idea what they would be worth to any of you out there. I will combine all the books for shipping Media Rate. I looked it up and 1 pound = $2.38, 2 pounds = $2.77, 3 pounds = $3.16 etc. Pretty reasonable. So after you contact me with what you want, I will weight the books and get you a total. You can then send me a check and after I received the check I will mail the books and /or fabric. I have already made almost enough for the first car payment! Don't forget to look at my posts from last week if you are interested in feedsack fabric or any of the remaining African dutch wax prints. Contact me at paltier at rpj-aps dot com. Thanks in advance for all your support!

Feedsack Sale - Final - Day 3

Here is the last of my stash. Contact me with an offer and it could be yours!

Item Y: Someone made a little jacket out of this feedsack fabric. The print is great and there would be lots of fabric to use in a quilt. There is some yellowing on the sleeves and one small hole.

Item X: a pretty red and green floral, but it has a few issues. It is hemmed all around, it has been repaired in several places, and has some small holes, but there is still plenty of good fabric to use in a pieced quilt. 26" x 36"

Item W: A bright yellow background with red fruit. I have two pieces to be sold as one lot. 24" x 5" and 26" x 27"

Item V: A pretty print that is rust and teal. I have two pieces will sell as one lot.24" x 20" and 12" x 4.5"

Item U: purple flowers with a pink background. 44" x 18"

Item T: A cute print with a strong pink background. 36" x 39"

Item S: This a piece that still had the original chain stitching so it is still a sack. If opened it would measure 36" x 42".
