High Art Prize
Thank you to everyone for your kind words about my very bad day. It was all I could do to force myself to get out of bed this morning.
Yesterday I had to go downtown for a meeting which was cattycorner from the venue for the High Arts Prize. I went early to the meeting so I could go to the venue and look at everything. Here are pictures of some of the art.

I wonder if the artist drank all the wine to get the corks for this piece.
This piece was made out of recycled materials like those interlocking floor pads and carpet padding
There were a few pieces of fiber art
This dress was made out of paper napkins
Here is the coolest fire pit ever
Saturday is the award ceremony. For me it is a real toss up who the grand prize will go to. There wasn't that one knock your socks off piece in the show.

I love the variety of art in the show.
I'm hope that you are feeling a bit better about stuff now. Thanks for sharing all the show photos; it never ceases to amaze me how inventive and creative human beings can be.
