Little progress

All I got done yesterday evening on the R.E.M. quilt was oiling my machine and winding a few bobbins. After mowing the grass I had over 19,000 steps for the day and I was tired! I did take a picture of the front flower bed and comparing it with the picture of when I first planted the transplanted ornament grass and Shasta daisies, I can see quite a difference.

Before

Currently

We have had rain, cooler weather the last couple days, and some sunshine which I think is giving these transplants a great start. I keep watching to see when the California poppies start coming up. They will fill in nicely between the transplants.

Here are the items that I picked up on my walks on Sunday, Monday and this morning. School is out June 7 so after that I don't expect to find much at all.

A little progress on the plants growing. We have had rain and cooler weather here too so the tomato plants have only grown a little. It sounds like it will be warmer over the weekend but more rain predicted.

Yard is looking really good. I imagine the snow kills the grass? So.....how much have you found....money wise? Airfare to come see me?
