Binding decision
Here are some choices for the binding for the tea towel quilt
Navy blue Essex - a safe choice
Tan Kona - it would work
What about this vintage Marimekko?
Probably not
Then these two - Free Spirit Twine on the left and a Jay McCarroll on the right.
I leaning toward the Free Spirit Twine

I agree, use the free spirit. Nice quilt.
I agree that the Free Spirit is the best of the options. Great quilt.
I liked the navy but I like your choice too!
I actually like the Marimekko. I think a narrow slice of a dark print would look nice.
The last three choices work for me and I like the Marimekko best but it would also be a great fabric in another quilt.

I like all of them though prefer the prints to the plains.
