Then it was to the Green Day shirt. I did a chain stitch for the border and then started quilting the outline of the design with the same green. I have a lot more to do on this shirt, but I am pleased with the progress I have made.
Slowly, but surely this piece is getting done.

It will be such a great quilt!
It is so fun seeing the different stitches you are using. I recently put a very little stitching on a pillow for my daughter. I actually had the thought that it wasn't so bad, I need to maybe rethink this aversion to hand work. . . Especially in cases like this, where you can see the beautiful stitches. I'm still not convinced however that hand sewing down binding is ever going to be something I do on a regular basis ;)
