Giveaway winner and progress on the purple & gray Halloween quilt

I pressed then taped down the backing for the purple and gray Halloween quilt

Spread the batting using my trustee worn wooden ruler other wise I couldn't reach the center of the batting to smooth it

Then I laid out the top. I like to lightly press my top, but I didn't have time to do that last evening.

My brother can't get a hold of his housekeeper so I will have to head over to his place after work to give the house a quick dusting and vacuum. I need to go there anyway to make the bed and take back the towels I washed.
