But wait ... there's more!
All of the scraps that were on the bed are sorted!
I searched around and found boxes to put most of the scraps in; I already had bins for the strings and one for the blue and green scraps.
I did find more pieces for curved top pouches which I was happy about. Now that fabric will get used!
I then looked around to see if there were any other scraps and sure enough there's more! I don't know if this is the last of them or not.
I am glad it is Friday. This first full week back to work has been a long one. This weekend I want to work on straightening up. I need to make space for fabrics I have gathered for future projects and projects that need finished. Who knows if I will come across any more scraps. I also want to get a few hours in on quilting that t-shirt quilt. Have a great weekend!
Guess those scraps have been out of mind since they’ve been out of sight! I am going through my fabric shelves to get them straightened up and pull any non-loved fabrics…..the shelves nerd room to breath.
ReplyDeleteThat was a lot of sorting. I like to press my scraps after sorting and then they take up less space in the boxes plus are ready to use. I haven't tackled that project though for several years.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good job to have "done" (is sorting scraps ever really done?). It seems they are so easily tucked here and there, yet not to be found when you *want* to find them. I have a bunch to work on myself, hopefully before they get too out of hand. Not gonna hold my breath on that though :-)
