I have worked and worked and worked around the house. I am happy with the way the garage cleanup and organizing has gone. I decided to paint and trim out the window in the garage. I had to fix up the drywall above and below the window where the tape was loose so there was two coats of mud and some sanding that occurred. Here is the before and where I am at right now. I still need to caulk, fill in the nail holes, give it one more coat of paint and add the hardware, but I am glad to have this much done.
The weather was cooler yesterday so it was time to paint the laundry/utility room door. This door goes into the garage. This was the only surface in the laundry/utility room that I had not painted. The color looks the same but it is not. The new paint job has more gray in it. It looks so much better.
Monday I mowed and trimmed; a job that seems never ending! I was trimming over at the cora bell bed and noticed that Sunday night the deer came along and ate most of the leaves off the three larger purple cora bell plants - UGH! I am going to have to dig up more Lenten rose small plants and plant them even closer to the purple cora bells to see if that will deter the deer. I just hope the plants can recover.
My internet has been working awful lately. It is slow and sometimes just doesn't work at all. So here I am posting late tonight and it is working a bit better. I did get the binding cut for the Harley quilt.

Wow, you've been really busy. Love how productive you've been, and the quilt has turned out really nice. I've been busy keeping up with things that are breaking down - dryer, phones, etc. Always seems to come in clusters. I was finally able, for the first time in a very long time, to spend time just sitting outdoors this past weekend. My goodness, that felt good. It was my weekend off from the quilt shop, so I took advantage of it. I have another custom quilt waiting for me to work on it at the shop later this week, so that will keep me busy this upcoming weekend. But at least I have it all planned out, and that's half the battle. Your place seems to be shaping up really nicely - lots of great work getting done! Congratulations.
Can you put down coyote urine to deter them?
The window looks great!!
