Progress on the secret project

Last night was stitching borders around two of the shirts. I have the borders done on three shirts. I finished the half zig zag border and worked on the backstitch with the what I will call tuffs of grass. Here is a drawing of those borders since I cannot show the actual stitching.

I am using variegated floss for these borders which adds a bit of interest as the colors change from light to dark. I like to make sure I continue the light to dark to light look so I am careful about keeping the pieces of split floss in order.
