Tote bag progress and mowing already
The two exterior panels for the tote bag are assembled. The fabric is so much prettier in person than in this picture.
I trimmed and mowed the front yard as soon as I got home from work. It was looking a bit shaggy. The grass doesn't look all that much different in the after picture LOL!!
Did a bit of cooking and washed some dishes too.
I don’t mow but I have been weeding and thinning out volunteers. I’ts already hitting 90 here. A long, hot summer ahead.
ReplyDeleteOne of my neighbors mowed his lawn Sunday. I think he was probably just itching to get back on his riding mower. I don't know who is going to mow my grass this year. My pacemaker specialist was glad to hear I was giving up mowing. I was getting my heart rate up too high.
ReplyDeleteNo Mow May - it's a thing ... seriously, it's supposed to help out the pollinators ... i did try to not mow till the end of May one year, but i don't remember if i caved or not ... yours looks so tidy and mine is a shaggy mess - we won't mention the dandelions cuz they are so pretty in the spring ... right?
