Quilting, knitting, walking Oh My!

I finally felt good enough to resume walking after work and getting my steps in. The three mile round trip to the library put me at just shy of 5 miles for the day. I was a bit tuckered out though. My brother stopped over to borrow my Multi Master. He is remodeling his late MIL house. A Multi Master is some of the best money I ever spent and I am happy to let my brother borrow it. Mine is a different model, but you get the idea. As well as cutting, you can sand with it.

After he left I finally got to work. I got one more block of the quilt quilted. So now I have 17 out of 30 blocks quilted.

I then knitted a few more rows on my scarf. Between what I did at lunch and before bed, it is now 16 1/2" long. At this rate I am wondering if I will get it done before winter is over! LOL!

Just in cast you are wondering about the pattern for the scarf it is just seed stitch worked with three different colors of yarn. You don't have to cut the yarn, just carry it up being careful not to pull it tight. The directions from Purl Soho called for 41 stitches, but I made mine 35 stitches since I have a short neck. The pattern also called for size 7 needles, but I am using size 6 as I knit loose.

Have a great weekend!

Gorgeous scarf! I have never knitted with multiple yarns before. I might have to give it a try!

Are you back in the land of the living? I have to admire your ability to keep the scarf straight. Mine would be really wonky.....

I love the look of seed stitch, but it is really a slow knit. Your scarf is going to be nice and warm.

You are over half way there on the quilting!! Math genius aren't I? LOL It is looking awesome :) And your scarf! I really need to start watching videos and learn to knit. I've tried in the past, just could not seem to wrap my head around it but I kind of like the look of knit better than crochet. . . Just what I need, another pass time sucking time!! haha

Nice work! Great idea to use 3 colors, and it makes it look really interesting. Love that t-shirt quilt in your header, too!
