Backing for the rock t-shirt quilt

Yesterday afternoon I had an appointment back in my home town so in driving a hour to the Dover area I discovered my air conditioning was no longer working. It worked before I got my car fixed 3 weeks ago. The temperature was in the high 80's so it was not a pleasant drive. I was soaked with sweat by the time I got to my appointment. Afterwards I met up with my son and we had dinner. I didn't get to my house until after nine and I still needed to call back my brother. I didn't get to bed until 11 so no sewing happened yesterday.

I was up early enough this morning I had time to pull some fabrics for the back of the t-shirt quilt. Here is what I came up with so far. Number 1

There is this brown quilty pirates fabric. I bought it a number of years ago at a really good price, but never knew what to do with it.

I used some of this skull and crossbones fabric in the front also

I love this flame fabric
I had also used the flame fabric in this quilt
and then this guitar fabric

Number 2 is without the flame fabric

Number 3 is taking out the skull and crossbones fabric and putting in this fabric that has musical terms on it

This weekend I get to stay home! I have no appointments, commitments, or company coming that I know of at this time. It will be a weekend of working on the t-shirt quilt, cleaning house, and doing some yard work! Whatever you do this weekend had a wonderful time!

I'll vote for any of the possible combinations that uses the flames fabric. It gives some color to the back.

Flames!

I can't wait to find out how you are going to quilt this bad boy!

Definitely the flames. I like No. 3's fabric combination.

I hope you get the air conditioning issue solved. That is an expensive repair and if they caused it maybe they will foot part of the bill.

I like the flame fabric included too but without it also goes well with the front of the quilt.

I hope your AC is fixed without too much cost and that you have an incredibly relaxed weekend doing whatever you want.....and that the phone doesn't ring.
