A quilt from the past

When I was at my sister's, this quilt was on the guest bed. I had totally forgot about this one. These were blocks left after our mom died. I was making the family xmas quilt every year out of her UFO's. I think I needed to piece one or two blocks in order to have enough for this quilt. I was surprised by all the quilting detail I had done.

I took these pictures on the phone and even though the appear correctly in my computer photo gallery, when I add them here they are upsidedown and wack-a-doodle.

I am just not in the mood. My car wouldn't start last evening so I had to walk home and walk to work this morning. I finally got hold of AAA this morning and they are coming. I may have to have it towed to the shop. Oh, and it's pouring down rain. Fun times.

Fun times indeed! Hope your car repair isn't too serious. It must have been fun to sleep under one of your own quilts.

Yes, the phone camera is the boss as far as orientation. I hope the car repair isn't as expensive as mine was last week.

What a fabulous quilt, Patty! The quilting really complements the blocks.

Ugh, walking to work in the rain... were you singing? :D Hope your repair bill is not too high and you are back in the driver's seat in no time!

Oh no! What a lousy thing, dead car and rain. Hope it clears up and the cards easily repaired!

That quilt is just fabulous! What great memories. I love that horse block!
