2nd post - QuiltCon screen printing workshop & working in a series

I took a screen printing workshop. I have to say I learned how easy it was and I enjoyed it. This is some of the work the class made.

My working in a series will be using linen including the linen and Essex I printed in this workshop. I have a partial bolt of linen that I have had for a long time. I love linen.

I washed the linen and the pieces I screen printed.

I started on my first piece and have some squares cut up.

I also took apart two pairs of pants I picked up at yard sales. One pair is Irish linen and the other pair is cotton but looks just like linen. They are washed, pressed, and now ready for use. You can see I didn't get the linen yardage pressed, but I think I will press it as I need it.

I also have some striped and plaid linens that I will also be using in this series.

Linen is going to be a great series! Are you going to dye some too?

Ohhhhh! You didn't show me all of those! I guess you thought I might just lift some of them from you. I think there are a few who would appreciate warmer weather in Louisiana, don't you?

glen: loving my pouch!
