Fun parade of quilts. Think of Jimmy Buffett when I look at that first zig zag quilt.
Thank you Quilt Lady. What a year! Funny how you were hating sister's color choice of pink and purple, and yet look how awesome it turned out. Improv menswear quilt......one of my all time faves.
Lots of beautiful quilts!! Here's to a wonderful new year!!
thanks for the recap. They are all wonderful. You put a lot of hours into the quilting part of it.
My favorites? Oh lets see, 6, 8, 9 , 10, and 13. I plan on working hard next year and learning from your fabulous ability to turn fabrics into something I really like. When I grow up I want to be you!!!
I just stumbled upon your website looking for instructions for the pothole quilt (which I didn't find) and was so pleasantly surprised with all of your quilts. They are amazing! I also love the chevron quilt for your sister. Did you use the method I saw elsewhere, I think called a half triangle square or something like that? #newbiequilter
Sheila, The chevron quilt was done with squares. Each square is half one color and half the other color. They are set on point. You didn't leave an email so I can't answer you directly and I have no idea about that hash tag, what it is for or how to use it.
