Finish 23 of 2012

I got to work on the quilt as soon as I got home from work (is that redundant?) and finally finished at 9 p.m. I am so tired, but I got the piano quilt done. It is 81" x 95". I used Sulky rayon on the front and various makes of cotton thread on the back. Warm an dnatural 80/20 is the batting and Moda is the backing. It is now stuffed into a large priority mail box and will be on its way to California shortly.

The back - I like the little pops of color and I only got a small wrinkle in the back.

Detail

Once the quilt has been delivered to the receipant, I will reveal who the quilt was made for.

This quilt is wonderful. I think the recipient will be blown away by it. Theme quilts are double the trouble finding all of the right fabrics but you did a great job.

No, it is not Billy Joel. You will just have to wait!
