Back from the crazyness known as a sale at Miller's Dry Goods!

What a Friday and Saturday we had at the shop! Friday we were busy all the time from 8 am to 5 pm. There was hardly a minute without a customer. It sure made the day go fast! The weather was great and there were lots of happy customers. AT 30% off they were really buying.

Here are the batiks - a bit messy but not totally destroyed yet!

I went to visit my friend Peg after I was done working on Saturday and she showed me her looking forward packages. She said it was so nice to find something other than a bill in the mailbox!

Mike, Peg liked how the FQ matched the stamps on the envelope

Charlene with yo-yo's - p.s. I got the check - more than the postage - thank you.

Sunday I spent making a cover for a sound rack

Rack

I didn't have enough fabric on hand so it is not quite done. It is 94" long 36" deep and 55" high. So when I ran out of fabric I went outside and mowed the back yard for the first time this year (yes it was high!) and washed the car. I finally called it quits at 8:15.

Then I need to make one for the sound board 94" wide X 46" deep x 50" high

I will show in another post what I bought at Miller's.
